The research in Dr. Wang’s laboratory is mainly focusing on the regulatory mechanisms of aberrant expression of co-inhibitory & co-stimulatory molecules, mediated by genetic polymorphisms, microRNAs, cytokines, and/or transcriptional factors, in gastrointestinal tumors, as well as the role of these molecules in drug disposition, so as to discover novel cancer therapeutic targets and to develop new RNA drugs.
