药学院持续深入推进全英文教学

随着经济全球化的发展，国家对于复合型药学人才的需求愈发强烈。药学院积极探索“厚基础、宽口径、强能力、高素质”的创新人才培养新途径，并于2014年开始在药学专业开设了全英文教学改革班。为提高全英文班学生英语水平，并推动学生参加托福、雅思等考试，全英文班的公共外语课程由外教进行授课。同时，全英文班所有专业基础课和专业必修课都实行了全英文授课。为进一步提高学生专业英语水平，学院聘请了大量外教进行专业课授课。

2017年2月28日-5月19日，在欧盟Erasmus⁺项目资助下，John L. Waddington、Brian Kirby、Shelagh Waddington、Darren Griffith和Samuel Maher等5位来自爱尔兰皇家外科医学院的教师为药学院药学专业本科生进行授课；5月17日，来自香港理工大学的Jian-Yong Wu副教授也为生物制药专业本科生进行了全英文授课。他们富有激情的授课，以及纯正的英文教学深深吸引了学生。学生们积极参与课堂讨论，提高了其英语学习的兴趣及英语交流的能力。

全英文教学是药学院创新人才培养模式，进行教学模式改革和课程体系构建的重要探索与实践。这种药学人才培养模式不仅让学生拥有更加广阔的发展空间，同时也丰富了学院的办学资源，为今后开展中外合作办学项目和其他教学改革打下了良好的基础。
