Dr.Cui was the key architect in developing a world-class commercial process for Amgen’s first synthetic peptide drug, Parsabiv. His contribution to the Parsabiv process was recognized internally with an Excellence in Operations Award, and externally by the US Environmental Protection Agency, with a 2017 Green Chemistry Challenge Award.
Dr. Cui also made significant contributions to developing a long-term manufacturing strategy including managing three simultaneous tech transfers with one to a greenfield facility, and implementation plans for all related regulatory variations to maximize speed and value to the business. The work was also recognized internally with an Excellence in Operations Award.
Dr. Cui is a member of the API Leadership Group and Quality by Design Team. He has also been recognized for his contributions to industrial science by the American Chemical Society with an Industrial Young Investigator Award.
