About the speaker
Yingmei Lu is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Nanjing Medical University. She received her Ph.D. degree from Tohoku University in Japan. She is long engaged in mechanisms of cerebrovascular disease and neuropsychiatric disease and drug development. She has published more than 50 SCI papers in high-profile journals including Neuron, J Clin Invest, Molecular Psychiatry, J Exp Med, Autophagy, Signal Transduct Target Ther, J Pineal Res, etc. She also serves as the editorial board member of J Pharmacol Sci, the international editorial board of Sci journal, visiting professor of Tohoku University, Japan, vice chairman and general secretary of the Branch of Cerebrovascular Function and Diseases of the Chinese Neurological Society, and vice chairman of the Special Committee for Microcirculation Drug Research of the Chinese Microcirculation Society. She won the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education.
