Suzhou Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation Concludes High-Level Talent Recruitment and Cooperation Mission in Singapore and Hong Kong

SUZHOU, China – From January 15 to 17, 2026, Suzhou Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation (SIPI) conducted a high-level talent recruitment and industry-academia-research cooperation mission in Singapore and Hong Kong. The initiative aimed to attract global talent and foster international collaboration in the biopharmaceutical sector.



The delegation held a high-level talent symposium at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Yin Kui, Director of the Faculty Affairs Department of Soochow University, delivered a keynote presentation highlighting the university’s history, cutting-edge research platforms, and comprehensive talent policies. He extended a formal invitation to global scholars to join Soochow University in advancing scientific innovation.

Zhong Zhiyuan, Executive Director of SIPI, provided an in-depth overview of Suzhou’s biopharmaceutical industry landscape, emphasizing the region’s innovation vitality. He detailed the synergistic “Three-in-One” model integrating Soochow University’s College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation, and the SIPI. The presentation was followed by an engaging discussion covering research directions, team-building support, and technology transfer mechanisms.


Concurrently, a separate team led by Jiang Zhi, Deputy Director of SIPI, visited Hong Kong to conduct targeted talent recruitment and explore collaboration opportunities with local research institutions, further expanding cooperation channels within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.


Moving forward, SIIT will deepen collaborations with top-tier international research institutions, and accelerate the aggregation of high-quality intellectual resources. These efforts aim to inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of Suzhou’s biopharmaceutical industry and support the establishment of a world-class hub for innovative drug discovery and translation.
