About the speaker
Professor Tan Ninghua is the former dean of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Pharmaceutical University. She is the chairman of the Phytochemistry and Resources Committee of the Chinese Botanical Society, vice president of the Chinese Medicine Research Association of Chinese Higher Education Association of Chinese Medicine, and vice president of Jiangsu Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association, etc.
Professor Tan Ninghua mainly focuses on the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine containing cyclic peptides, traditional Chinese medicine for relieving cough, novel anti-tumor drugs, herbal health products, etc. She has been awarded as the highly cited scholar of traditional Chinese medicine many times. She has published more than 380 papers in high-profile journals, including Chemical Reviews, Science, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, Cell Reports, Organic Letters, Journal of Natural Products, etc. She has been rated as the most cited scholar in Chinese pharmacy many times.
