About the speaker

Ye Min is a professor at the School of Pharmacy, Peking University, and a doctoral supervisor of pharmacognosy. He graduated from the Peking University of Chinese Medicine in 2000 with a bachelor's and master's degrees. In 2003, he graduated from Peking University with a doctor's degree. In December 2007, he was employed by the School of Pharmacy, Peking University, and was promoted to professor in 2012. His research interests include the analysis of pharmacodynamic substances of traditional Chinese medicine, biosynthesis of natural medicines, and biocatalysis. He has published more than 230 SCI papers with a total of 7,000 citations. He is currently a member of the National Pharmacopoeia, deputy director of the Medical Plant and Botanical Medicine Committee of the Chinese Botanical Society, and deputy editor of J Ethnopharmacol and Pharm Biol.
