About the Speaker

Professor Shiyong Sun is a tenured professor in the Department of Hematology and Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine and Cancer Center, USA. He is a Distinguished Cancer Research Scientist of the Georgia Research Consortium. His team focuses on researching novel therapeutic targets for cancer, especially lung cancer. He worked intensively on the apoptosis-related death receptor and mTOR signaling pathway. He recently paid attention to the third generation of epidermal growth factor inhibitors in treating drug-resistant lung cancer. Professor Sun Shiyong has published more than 250 SCI papers. He is also a senior editorial board member of 28 academic journals and a reviewer of more than 75 international SCI journals.
