About the University of Macau

        The University of Macau( UM ) was established in 1981 and was formerly known as the private East Asian University. After more than 30 years of development, the University of Macau has made outstanding contributions in the fields of teaching, research, and community service and has developed into the best international and only comprehensive public university in Macau with a residential college system. Moreover, the University of Macau is also a founding member of the Belt and Road international scientific organization alliance. The University of Macau is ranked 387th in the world and 88th in Asia in the QS Global University Rankings 2020.
