Research Interests
q Natural medicinal protein/peptide identification: Using biochemistry, molecular biology, and other means to identify natural medicinal proteins/peptides from various organisms, reveal the mechanism of their function and establish a natural medicinal protein/peptide resource library that provides templates for the development of novel protein/peptide drugs.
q Design and modification of medicinal peptides: Using natural peptides as templates to conduct the structure-activity relationship study, reveal the key structural parameters that affect the activity, toxicity, and stability of the peptides, and design the best peptide candidate for further drug development.
