About the Speaker

Ronggui Hu is the Distinguished Professor, PI, and doctoral supervisor of the Molecular and Cellular Science Excellence Innovation Center (Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences) of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is now the deputy director of the National Enzyme Expert Committee of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has won the second prize in Natural Science from the Ministry of Education and the first prize in Natural Science in Zhejiang Province. His research focuses on protein homeostasis regulation, primary human disease mechanisms, and related translational research. His main achievements have been published in Nature, Science, Cancer Cell, Nature Cancer, Nature Microbiology, Cell Research, J. Hepatology, PNAS, Autophagy, and other academic journals. He co-edited Cell Research (2016) and Frontiers in Cell & Dev Biol (2021).
