About the speaker

    Li Yaping is a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Chinese Academy of Sciences and Director of the Pharmaceutical Preparation Research Center. He is also the chairman of the Nano-Oncology Committee of the Chinese anticancer Association and the vice Chairman of the Nano-Medicine Committee of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Society. He mainly engages in nano-preparation, drug delivery technology research, and novel drug development.

 

He has published more than 240 papers in Nat Nanotechnol, Sci Immunol, Adv Mater, and other journals. He has been cited 14,600 times, and 22 papers have been selected as ESI highly cited papers with an H factor of 72. He has been selected as one of the world's top 100,000 scientists (ranked 6350,2022) and a highly cited scientist. He has been ranked fourth in the National Top 100 pharmaceutical Experts' Academic influence list for two consecutive years (2021/2022). He presided over the research and development of more than 40 new pharmaceutical drugs and has obtained 52 authorized patents at home and abroad.

 

He has won the second prize in the National Natural Science Award, two first prizes in the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, and the Wu Jieping Pharmaceutical Innovation Award.
