About the Speaker

Xianming Deng is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University. Focusing on the chemical biology research of untargeted kinase, based on the design concept of kinase conformation-specific recognition, he explored and constructed the characteristic chemical space of kinase-oriented, discovered a series of important untargeted kinase inhibitors, and applied them to explain the biological function and therapeutic basis of the untargeted kinase. Related results in the past five years have been published in Nature (2022), Cell (2019), Nat. Metab. (2022), Sci. Trans. Med. (2016), J. Exp.Med. (2017), Nat. Commun. (2018, 2020), Cancer Res. (2017, 2018), J. Med. Chem. (2018),  and other international academic journals, many of which were selected as SCI highly cited papers. 7 patents were successfully transferred.
