About the Speaker

Prof. Chen Wang has been the dean of the School of Life Science and Technology at China Pharmaceutical University since May 2016. He was the project leader of the Institute of Biochemistry and Cells, Shanghai Institute of Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has long been engaged in researching and developing molecular regulatory mechanisms and targeted drugs for innate antiviral immunity, inflammation, and related diseases. He has published more than 80 papers in Nature, Cell, Immunity, Nature Immunology, PNAS, Autophagy, Journal of Cell Biology, Cell Reports, PLOS Pathogens, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Journal of Virology, Cell Research, Journal of Immunology and other journals. His paper has been cited more than 9000 times. He has been selected as the vice Chairman of the Protein Modification and Disease Committee of the Chinese Pathophysiology Society, the leading talent of the Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Team of Jiangsu Province, and the vice chairman of the Jiangsu Biotechnology Association.
