About the Speaker

Dr. Xuan Zhenyu is a professor at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Soochow University, and a professor and doctoral supervisor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also the founder and chairman of Suzhou Youseen New Drug R&D Co., LTD. Dr. Xuan is mainly engaged in the development of new Chinese medicine and the theoretical research of Chinese medicine. He has trained more than 20 masters and doctors, and applied for more than 140 national invention patents and four international patents. He has undertaken 9 national projects and more than 20 provincial and municipal research projects, and won many national awards, such as First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress and First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education. He is the vice president of the New Technology Committee of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the vice president of the Chinese Medicine Antiviral Branch of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Standing member of the Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine Committee of the Chinese Society of Toxicology, the standing director of the Preparation Branch of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the technical evaluation expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the State, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and the technical consulting expert of State Food and Drug Administration (NMPA) and National Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE).
