 报告人简介:
Dr. Ivan Dikic is a Professor and Chairman of Institute of Biochemistry 2 at the Medical School Goethe University. He was the Founding Director of the Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences in Frankfurt.

His work has laid the basis of understanding how Ubiquitin acts as a signal in physiological and pathophysiological processes.

His current interests focus on selective autophagy, which is essential for the clearance of protein aggregates, pathogens, and damaged mitochondria from the cell. He has published around 220 manuscript cited more 21.000 times.

He serves on the editorial boards of Cell, Molecular Cell, Developmental Cell, EMBO Journal, EMBO Reports, J Cell Biol, Autophagy, BMC Biology and Cell Death and Differentiation. He is a senior editor of eLife and a chairman of the EMBO Publication Committee.

He has received several recognitions for his work including the AACR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cancer Research, the Hans Krebs Prize, the Leibniz Award and the Ernst Jung Award in Medicine. He is a Member of the German Academy for Sciences Leopoldina, Academia Europaea, Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences and European Molecular Biology Organization.
