报告摘要:

The mesocorticolimbic dopamine (DA) circuits, as the center for drug reward and addiction, is thought to undergo long-term adaptations in response to repeated drug use and promote a risk of relapse after drug withdrawal. Abusive drugs exert their rewarding effects, in part, by modulating the activity of DA neurons within the ventral tegmental area (VTA). Here, we introduced a new firing parameter to evaluate the activity of VTA DA neurons: slow oscillation. DA neurons show oscillatory firing pattern, which is dependent on the PFC inputs, can be regulated by addictive drugs such as nicotine, cocaine; and also associates with cocaine induced behavioral sensitization. 2nd part is to talk about the effects of cannabinoid type 2 receptor on DA neurons activity including CB2R expression and its mechanism.
