报告人简介

Dr. Xiaodong Xiong received his B.A. degree in chemistry from the Nanchang University in 2005. He obtained his Master degree from the Fudan university in 2009 working with Prof. Fen-er Chen, and awarded a Ph.D degree in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Dawei Ma. In 2013, he joined in the group of Prof. Henry N. C Wong in The Chinese university of Hongkong for a postdoc position. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Ying-yeung Yeung’s laboratory at The Chinese university of Hongkong from 2015-2018. His research interests are focused on total synthesis of natural products, transition-metal and organocatalyst-catalyzed organic chemistry, asymmetric halogenation, and the application of chemistry in biological and medicinal chemistry. He has published 10 research papers in international journals, including Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Catalysis, Organic Letters, Chemistry–An Asian Journal, and coauthored 2 chinese patents.
